The student must select a thesis advisory committee of at least three faculty members approved by EURO. European Studies adheres to thesis format and printing requirements set by the University Graduate School. Master's theses range in length from 50 to 75 pages, not to exceed 100 pages.
Proficiency at the intermediate-mid to intermediate-high level of one approved European language appropriate to the student's program of study.
Students must apply separately for admission to the MA program in European Studies and the JD program in the Maurer School of Law and must be accepted to both units in order to be admitted to the joint degree program. Students may apply for admission to both programs simultaneously. Alternatively, students enrolled in one program may apply for admission to the other any time before the completion of their degree.
