As a Jean Monnet European Union Centre of Excellence, EURO has funds to support travel awards for IU graduate students and early- to mid-career faculty who are working on research on topics related to the European Union or any of the EU's member states.
Graduate students from any discipline may apply so long as their topic meets the description above. Grant funds can support domestic or international travel during the remainder of 2025 to conduct research or attend conferences/workshops where you are presenting research or engaging in other professional activities.
Please be advised that, as part of our agreement with the European Union for these funds, those receiving grant funding will be asked to share your work from your travel with our department and the IU community. This could include an on-campus presentation, an adapted publication via a departmental newsletter or online blog, a workshop/roundtable with faculty/students, etc. This activity will tentatively be scheduled for next academic year (Fall 2025-Spring 2026) and EURO will work with you to make all appropriate arrangements.
Applications are due by Monday, March 25th at 5pm EST. Please reach out to EURO Director Roberta Pergher (rpergher@iu.edu) or Associate Director Colton Ames (colames@iu.edu) with any questions.
