New European Studies Research Paper Competition announced for Undergraduate Students
Prizes of up to $500 will be awarded for undergraduate papers which explore various aspects of European integration, current developments in European politics, society, and culture, as well as the EU’s role in the world.
Grant available to fund Irish language study in Ireland
Through a partnership with the Fulbright Commission in Ireland, EURO is offering up to $5,000 to support student travel to Ireland for language study.
Affiliated Faculty Profile: Dr. Anya Peterson Royce
The Institute for European Studies would like to share the recent work of affiliated faculty member Dr. Anya Peterson Royce. Dr. Royce is Chancellor’s Professor of Anthropology and of Comparative Literature at Indiana University Bloomington.
Affiliated Faculty Spotlight: Professor Anja Matwijkiw
Matwijkiw, who held the prestigious title of Fulbright Distinguished Chair of Public International Law from 2019-20, was named 2024-25 Presidential Arts and Humanities Fellow this year.
