The Institute for European Studies (EURO) at IU promotes knowledge of Europe and the European Union through education, scholarship, and public outreach. Our academic degree programs train specialists committed to strengthening transatlantic ties through careers in public service, business, research, and teaching.

EURO's mission also takes us away from the IU Bloomington campus. It is our duty to increase knowledge and awareness of Europe and the European Union in the local community and beyond. We have a variety of resources, programming, and funding opportunities for K-12 educators looking to bring Europe into the classroom, and our relationship with local businesses and IU's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) has created a better understanding of the European business environment.
